President R. Mugabe of Zimbabwe, who has become as annoying an international presence as Jean Bertrand Aristide says he is open to talks. This is good news for African politics. But it's bad news for the Zimbabwean people; since this could be another promise unkept. The international community, however, is watching with a view to intervention, bad for Mugabe because, now he could lose his dayhood also.

The U.S. District Court ruled that the White House is not required to turn over records of possibly missing emails. They are, however, required to stop using a sideways smiley face in emails about gas prices.

I recently met my first East Indian Sikh. They're a lot different from the rest of the East Indian population. They eat meat, they swear, they're fun to be around... Basically if there were a trailor park community in India, that would be them.
