The Mars Rover is stuck in a sand trap on the Red Planet.Tiger Woods says he will hole it out for a 20 million dollar appearance fee. 

Thousands of bees swarmed outside a New York City game store, trapping employees inside for hours. Worried employees looked out the window of the store while talking on the phone as the bees clustered Saturday afternoon. Eventually, a police bee specialist arrived and used a scent of a queen bee to collect the rest of the swarm. The officer observed most of the workers doing nothing about the situation, but they did have a tight grip on their joysticks.

What started as a routine test drive ended up being a marathon trip across the country with a kidnapped car salesman. The 32-year-old suspect went to a Honda dealership in Massachusetts and he and the salesman went on a test drive. But the guy refused to turn back around and the salesman was trapped in the car until he finally escaped when the driver slowed down at a tollbooth near the Massachusetts state line. Police finally caught up with the driver over 1,000 miles away in Wisconsin! He was arrested and charged with speeding, reckless driving kidnapping and operating a motor vehicle without owner consent.  ***MARLAR: After finally being stopped the driver did offer to buy the car – but for a discount because it had so many miles on it.

In the world of owls, there may be none tougher than the great horned owl that flew into the front of a moving Ford F-250 pickup in Haysville, Indiana. Despite becoming trapped inside the grill and mangling the truck's radiator, the owl survived! Conservation Officer Tony Mann said the bird was conscious and appeared to have a broken or dislocated wing and assorted scrapes. He was able to free the owl and sent it to a wildlife rehabilitator in Vincennes for treatment. The truck didn't fare so well and had to be towed from the scene.  ***MARLAR: The car’s owner said having a bird on the grill was pretty cool – he’d always wanted to drive a Thunderbird. 

A Swedish man got dragged into the swirling brushes of a giant car wash and came out with four broken ribs recently. The 60-year-old man was using a high-pressure hose to clean his bus when the hose accidentally hit a sensor and activated the brushes, which trapped it. As the man fought to free the hose, his foot got stuck and he was pulled in and pinned against one of the machine's rotating bristles. A court has awarded 6,000 crowns (about $570) to the man who was rescued after someone heard his screams and pushed the machine's emergency stop button. ***MARLAR: On the plus side, he did get a free hot wax and buff dry.

Soulja Boy was arrested outside Atlanta on Wednesday night after he ran away from police officers when they showed up at a house he was using for a video shoot. The rapper took off running from the house and was arrested after he decided to come back for his car, a white Range Rover.......Why did he run?  He should've  'Crank That' Range Rover!
