The New York Yankees won the World Series after a 8-year World Series drought, despite having the biggest payroll of any MLB team.

To improve on their already heavy hitting roster (hadn't the Yankee's won), owner George Steinbrenner (accurately portrayed in tv's Seinfeld as a greedy, insane person), was ready to buy the high-scoring 1954 National League All-Star Team.

Jerry Seinfeld announces he will be producing a new comedy/reality show for NBC.  Called the Marriage  Ref, Seinfeld described the premise of show of "well-known people weighing in on a couple's relationship issues ......and deciding
who is right and who is wrong....right on the spot, like a referee.................and yada, yada, yada."  It sounds like a familiar show........... about nothing.

These parents gave their kids Nazi names, and had their children taken from them, but this is a free country and as much as I agree that Hitler was a jackass, you can name your kids whatever you want here. Sure the kid named after Adolf will get ridiculed all his life... but so what?  I got called Retardo all my life.  If anything this kid will make it big as a stand-up comic.... "Ladies and Gentlemen... the comedy stylings of Adolf Hitler".. I could see this kid opening for Seinfeld.

An officer at a San Diego County correctional facility who had complained about the barking of her neighbor's dog was arrested after being accused of stealing the animal and abandoning it some 15 miles away.

Although what she did was kidnapping, she was instead charged with biting off an old Seinfeld episode, and will be sent to jail in Latham, Massachusettes as a punishment.
