Well, the World Series is finally over.  Phillies pitchers and catchers are being ordered to report to Spring Training on Monday.

For the third year in a row, residents and visitors have voted Philadelphia the city with the least attractive people, according to a survey by Travel + Leisure. But that's not all; the City of Brotherly Love also ranked as the least stylish, least active, least friendly and least worldly by 60,000 respondents who ranked 30 cities in several categories ranging from food to nightlife to culture. On the bright side, the beauty of the museums and art galleries was enough to boost Philly to the third spot in the Historical Sites/Monuments category.  ***MARLAR: Sadly, most of the citizens look like historical sites and monuments.

Jimmy Rollins believes the Phillies will win the World Series in five games. He also believes the world is flat.

Yeah as y'all know, the World Series gets underway tomorrow night.  And the New York Yankees and the Philadelphia Phillies are two teams that are similar in a lot of ways, really they are.  They do have one HUGE, CONTROVERSIAL, AND DISGUSTING thing separating them, though.  It's called NEW JERSEY.

Manny Ramirez took an early shower and missed his team lose Game 4 to the Philadelphia Phillies. There hasn't been this much controversy over a sports related shower since the Erin Andrews video.

The Philadelphia Phillies are going back to the World Series. The New York Mets are also repeating, making reservations at the same golf resort.

The Philadelphia Phillies crushed the Los Angeles Dodgers 11-0. The good news for Los Angelinos is now the Clippers and Kings don't look as bad.
 

Congrats to TBS who broadcast the game last night.  According to last night's TV ratings, TBS won the all-important 2 a.m-3 a.m.. time slot edging out a ShamWow infomercial on Lifetime. 

The Philadelphia Phillies acquired Cliff Lee from Cleveland. Lee will feel at home, since the crack in the Liberty Bell is almost as big as the one in the Indians' franchise.
