Bernie Madoff’s stuff is being auctioned off, including his Mets jacket which says “Madoff” on the back.  May not be safe to walk the streets of New York in that thing; after all, it does say Mets on it!

 New York City will celebrate the Yankees' 27th World Series title with a celebration parade today.  Parade confetti will consist of ticker tape, newspaper, and shredded Mets' season tickets.  

The New York Mets will be participating in the Yankees Word Series parade.They will be removing trash from the streets,for their only sweep of the season. 

...the New York Mets today released their 2009 season highlights DVD...the DVD was 90 minutes long with nothing on it.

Venezuelan authorities are scheduled to exhume the body of former major leaguer Geremi Gonzalez. Mainly to check if he's healthy enough to pitch for the Mets.

Baseball's oldest living Major Leaguer turned 100 years old, and looks forward to starting for the Mets next season.
