The Republicans are now stuck with "Zippergate" regarding Nevada's GOP Senator John Ensign's and South Carolina's GOP Governor Mark Sanford's affairs, both announced about a week apart. Obama took it in stride and sucked on a Marlboro. There was a lot of quiet from Limbaugh, O'Reilly, Coulter, Levin, and Hannity.

Supreme Court nominee Sotomayor is the second high-profile member to quit the club in less than a week.  On Tuesday,  Chastity Bono also quit the club.  

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele has apologized for a recent comment he made that linked Mitt Romney's failed presidential campaign to Republicans' concern about Romney's Mormon faith..  Michael Steele has put his foot in his mouth so many times that his Secret Service code name is Joe Biden.

GOP Chairman Michael Steele has apologized for statements that many people of his party didn't vote for Mitt Romney because he was a Mormon. Steele also added that he has no problem with Romney's religion, and that anyone able to have as many white wives as possible is off-da-hook.
