People keep asking me, "Did ya watch the big game?" and "How about the super bowl?"

Let me explain something.  I don't watch football and I don't care about football.  I'll explain why that is.  Without argument, The NFL Superbowl is the largest event for the sport.  It's said that more people watch it than any other single broadcast in the country.  Now at least 80-90% of people I talk to say, "I only watch it for the commercials..."

WHAT!?!?!?!  WTF!  Seriously?

 So, the commercials are better than the game?  And we aren't talking about the minor leagues, either, we're talking about the Annual Pinnacle of the sport!  And more people watch it for the commercials than the game?  These same people would tell you they don't like commercials and that they are thankful for their DVR so that they can fast forward through them.  READ THIS:  If the commercials are better than the game and commercials suck, then why would I watch the game, much less any of the less-anticipated games of the season?  

I'm starting to wonder if Hal-mark or Hershey is somehow behind this.  Way to create another holiday, guys!

 Then again, I'm also assured that I "just don't understand football."

I don't know for sure but it seems like the TV show "The Biggest Loser" has been on for a thousand years and I don't know anyone that watches it.

I watched it once or twice when I was in the hospital and bored shitless.

These people aren't just fat, they're huge, enormous, gigantic.  They abuse the privilege.

All they do on the damn show is cry.  They cry from the start of the show till the end.  They cry when they're happy, when they're sad, when they eat, when they sleep and I don't know for sure but they probably cry when they crap.

Is that part of being FAT?  Are their tear ducts fat too, and holding too much water?

They start out needing a sponge, then it goes to towels and then a mop.  By the end of the show they are crying BUCKETS.

NOW THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT???? 

Niche markets are big now in entertainment.  Taking things down a notch, the next installment of the popular AVATAR movie will be titled:

  AVATAR-BABY

Years ago, I went to the theater to see Final Fantasy-The Spirits Within. The effects were amazing, the storyline was intense, and that was only during the Spider-Man trailer!

As for the movie, I won't call it boring, but if entertainment caused STDs, then Final Fantasy tested negative.

Roxxxy was introduced at the Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas. There's only one problem: it still won't have sex with nerds. However, it does give a whole new meaning to the phrase, "lube job."

Black Entertainment Television (BET) is courting Senator Harry Reid for more of his crazy old white man colored commentary. 

The Consumer Electronics Show and AVN Adult Entertainment Expo occurred simultaneously in Vegas... Unfortunately, a scheduling mixup sent guest speakers to the wrong venues.. Bill Gates' speech on Windows 7 at AVN fell on deaf ears while Jenna Jameson's strap-on demonstration drew record crowds at CES...

New Jersey families are not happy with the negative depiction and disrespect shown on MTV’s “Jersey Shore” and evidently took action......... It should be noted, of the remaining staff and cast members that can be found all had broken kneecaps. 

I knew I had a rough Childhood when looking at Entertainment pages and seeing that ghastly Rihanna beating photo and thinking to myself "Wow that looks a lot like my memories"
