People keep asking me, "Did ya watch the big game?" and "How about the super bowl?"

Let me explain something.  I don't watch football and I don't care about football.  I'll explain why that is.  Without argument, The NFL Superbowl is the largest event for the sport.  It's said that more people watch it than any other single broadcast in the country.  Now at least 80-90% of people I talk to say, "I only watch it for the commercials..."

WHAT!?!?!?!  WTF!  Seriously?

 So, the commercials are better than the game?  And we aren't talking about the minor leagues, either, we're talking about the Annual Pinnacle of the sport!  And more people watch it for the commercials than the game?  These same people would tell you they don't like commercials and that they are thankful for their DVR so that they can fast forward through them.  READ THIS:  If the commercials are better than the game and commercials suck, then why would I watch the game, much less any of the less-anticipated games of the season?  

I'm starting to wonder if Hal-mark or Hershey is somehow behind this.  Way to create another holiday, guys!

 Then again, I'm also assured that I "just don't understand football."

Nothing pisses me off more then watching dead people still doing commercials! Doesn't that void the warranty limit? Mr Roger's Mr. Dress up will never get any older. My worst fear is when my grandson ask to go see them live.   

The U.S. govt. banned hand-held "texting" by drivers of large commercial trucks and buses to avoid the danger of distracted driving.  Drivers will have to summon the services of hookers the old-fashioned way – CB radio.

You remember those Nike commercials when Tiger first came out where all these kids kept saying "I am Tiger Woods.  No I am Tiger Woods.  Etc."?  There's a new commerical out with a bunch of women saying "I had Tiger Woods.  No I had Tiger Woods. Etc."

Charlie Sheen doesn't care that he got dumped by Hanes Underwear.  He's getting a better deal with their competitor.  Watch for the new commercials featuring "Mr. B.V.D"..."Brooke's Violent Douchebag!"

Nigerian national and would-be terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab was thwarted after nearly bringing down a commercial airliner bound for Detroit. Interestingly enough, this was the most positive news to come out of Detroit in a long time.

Ivana Trump was removed from a plane after she started to curse at children who were running and playing in the aisles.  Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!  Ivana Tump flies commercial!  Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

We've all seen the TV commercials where a guy sprays himself and is then suddenly attacked by females.  The campaign seems to be powerful enough that now teenage boys are spraying themselves constantly, causing classrooms to be unbearable, and causing some problems for kids with asthma.  Some schools in Nebraska are considering bans on body sprays, and in Canada one middle school already has the ban in place.  ***MARLAR: Meaning the only thing you may smell from the guys is their B/O.
