According to a recent study, drinking beer is good for a person’s bones.   One group exempted from this study- drunk snowboarders.

A New York City fourth-grader was sent to the principal's office and nearly suspended for bringing a 2-inch toy gun to school.  Nine-year-old Patrick Timoney and a friend were playing with Legos in the cafeteria at Public School 52 in Staten Island on Tuesday when Patrick produced the tiny plastic machine gun and put it in the hands of a plastic police officer.  After Patrick's mother got a call from the school, his parents met with the principal and persuaded her not to discipline him if he agreed to leave the toy gun at home.  The boy's father, also named Patrick Timoney, says principal Evelyn Mastroianni "went overboard."  ***MARLAR: The toy police officer has been suspended for not confiscating the gun from the fourth-grader.

NYC transit agency  is investigating a video posted online that shows a man kissing and snuggling a live chicken aboard a subway.  Coincidentally, last week the same video camera caught a man choking his chicken.

Hans Kurt Kubus, 58, who stuffed 44 small lizards into his underwear before trying to board a flight has been sentenced to prison will spend 14 weeks behind bars and must pay a $3,540 fine..... WOW! So much for saving money switching to Geico! 

After complaints from Gen. Petraeus, a MI defense contractor will stop stamping references to Bible verses on combat rifle sights made for the U.S. military.  Petraeus is also asking all of his tank commanders to remove the “Parking Jesus” from their dashboards.

A teenage passenger’s Jewish prayer aboard a US Airways jet forced the plane to make an emergency landing yesterday. Passengers were frightened when they saw him stand up and strap something to his wrists and arms. Asked afterwards what he was praying for, the teen said one word: The Jets.

Unemployment hit 10.2% in NYC yesterday. A ten-year-high. It’s about to go even higher when Conan and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog are added to the rolls.

Air France has revealed it may prevent obese passengers from boarding its planes, for what they say are "safety reasons."  When you add this to their insistence on always speaking French, they've pretty much found a way to keep any American tourist from ever traveling to France.

During his acceptance speech, I thought Brown got a little carried away and went overboard in his promises.  He said he would do whatever it takes to locate Osama bin Laden and Tiger Woods.
