Financially strapped actor Nicolas Cage is selling his homes, cars, yachts, and artwork so he can pay off his IRS bill and help stave-off bankruptcy.. Don't fret though.. The Chicago Cubs have filed for bankruptcy protection. Which is the first time in a while they've been active in mid-October.
 

New York City's Tavern On The Green filed for Chapter 11, and renamed themselves Tavern In The Red. 

A judge ruled that Michael Vick's bankruptcy plan can be sent to creditors to vote on, but  it remains unclear how the out-of-work quarterback will get the income to pay them.  Vick told the judge he has applied for jobs as a pet sitter, dog walker, and animal trainer, but so far he's received no offers.

The tax is opposed by conservatives who think we're already taxed too much, by the soft drink industry as it would hurt sales, and by Kirstie Alley because it would force her into bankruptcy.

Stephen Baldwin has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.  Mr. Baldwin's lawyer, Bruce Weiner, did not immediately return a message left for him late Tuesday requesting comment.

Baldwin claimed he didn't know the full scope of his financial difficulty until he discovered he only had enough cash to hire a guy named Weiner.

Actor Stephen Baldwin,  brother of Emmy winner and "30 Rock" star Alec Baldwin, filed for bankruptcy in New York on Tuesday, according to a court document that says he is millions in debt.   Stephen Baldwin sought a bail out from big brother, but the US government said no.
