As part of the British government's campaign against obesity, UK candy makers have agreed to phase out king-size chocolate bars. Critics assailed the move as an assault on freedom of choice and said it's pointless because if somebody wants to eat a double helping of candy, they can just buy two candy bars.  ***MARLAR: Also, from now on, bags of M&Ms can contain only one M.  (I actually love the “fun size” candy bars.  Although to me, any size candy bar is a fun size.)

Canadian inventor Paul LeFevre has come up with a designer diaper for dogs that could make pooper scoopers obsolete. Gerrie Hawes of Fresh Daisy, an organic frozen baby food company, says she's finally solved the problem of how to get toddlers to eat their greens. She's invented green pea ice cream.  She also has ice cream and frozen yogurt recipes that include broccoli, carrots, parsnips and cabbage.  ***MARLAR: And if it doesn’t get them to eat their greens, it’s a great way to get them off of ice cream.

A Romanian woman has revealed an entire wardrobe that she has made herself, using her own hair. The woman has made herself a raincoat, blouse, skirt, waistcoat, hat, shawl, handbag and purse. ***MARLAR: She wanted to make a pair of pajamas as well, but you all know what “bed head” looks like.

31 year old Liew Siaw Hsia gave birth to a baby boy on an AirAsia flight to Bourneo Island.  The low cost airline offered the mother and baby free flights for life for the successful birth.

Rapper Lil Wayne pleaded guilty in Manhattan court today to a gun charge.

Last year, following a performance at the Beacon Theater in NYC, cops raided Lil Wayne’s tour bus on the suspicion that he was in the possession of marijuana. But what they found was a bit more serious than a little weed.

When the NYPD approached the bus, Lil Wayne allegedly tossed a Louis Vuitton bag with a gun inside, which got him charged with attempted weapon possession.

Authorities reportedly tied the gun to Lil Wayne using “a debated, highly sensitive DNA profiling technique”:
